Aloe Vera, the green cactus looking plant, is not just a plant. It is a miracle of nature. That’s the reason why it is now widely used by the healthcare industries to the beauty brands in their products. But what is it that makes the plant so distinguishable and adorable?
ABOUT ALOE VERA:

The leaves hold a transparent gel that is extremely bitter and is known for its unbelievable healing properties. The gel is made of about 96% of water, some organic and inorganic compounds, a type of protein which contains amino acid and the powerful vitamins like, A, B, C and E. So, Aloe Vera is considered to be the natural healer when applied topically or consumed orally. Now let’s talk about the benefits of Aloe Vera on our skin.

ALOE VERA ON SKIN:
Aloe Vera gel has innumerable benefits on the skin. As you know Aloe Vera is known for its healing properties, it treats cuts, wounds, burns, acne. Being a natural moisturizer, Aloe Vera is effective for dry flaky skin. It revives, calms, soothes, controls oil, prevents wrinkles, lightens blemishes, suntan and any spots on the skin. In short Aloe Vera gives you a clear and rejuvenated skin. You can use it as the under eye gel also and you will experience after some days, reduced dark circles and the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles has been remarkably diminished. It is effective for cracked heels too. So to sum up, Aloe Vera can treat, exfoliate, restore, reveal and provide constant, impressive nutrition to our skin.
HOW TO USE ON SKIN:
You can use either raw Aloe Vera gel, collecting from the plant itself or any gel based beauty product. It can be suitable for every skin type. One way to use it directly on the skin, or you can make DIY packs with some special ingredients from your kitchen.
1. PACK FOR DRY SKIN:
Mix some raw Aloe Vera gel with half teaspoon of honey, one teaspoon of milk cream (you can use full cream milk), few drops of glycerin and rose water.Mix well to make a thick paste, apply it all over your face and neck, leave for at least 15 minutes and rinse off with warm water. You can apply the pack all over your body. Then the amount of the ingredients will have to be increased. The pack is useful for dry skin throughout the year and for normal and combination skin during winter. It will give you hydrated, refreshed and glowing skin.
2. PACK FOR OILY AND COMBINATION SKIN:
Mix Aloe Vera gel with homemade turmeric paste, 2/3 drops of tea-tree oil, 1/3 spoon of honey and rose water. Blend well to make a thick paste, apply on face and neck and leave it for at least 15 minutes. Rinse off with lukewarm water. You can use it on the whole body also. Then the quantity will be increased, but ensure that tea-tree oil will be only 5/6 drops. The amount of tea-tree oil, I have written here, stick to that. The pack will treat acne, reduce oiliness, diminishes blemishes, tans, sunburns, giving you a matte and clear look. Regular use of this pack will control the oil-production in your skin.
