I was running out of my eyeliner pencils presently. So, I visited a local store for buying some and saw these Lasting Drama by Eyestudio waterproof gel pencil from Maybelline India. They have recently launched these range of gel pencil. The range has around 8 shades right now, out of which, I have brought four. They’re Polished Amethyst, Striking Copper, Lustrous Sapphire and Glazed Coffee. Let’s start with the review. I can see your excitement.

From the swathes you can see that the eyeliners are well pigmented. Yes, Lasting Drama stays longer. I go wearing them to my work place and coming back after 7 hours. It stays the whole time without any touch up. And here I want to mention that my eyelid is oily and waterline is wet. It doesn’t look messy at all. It doesn’t even smudge or bleed. Though the brand claims that it stays for 16 hours, I didn’t keep for that long hour, so can’t about that. The eyeliner can be easily removed with any makeup remover, even the oil based make up remover. It doesn’t cause any allergy to my eyes which is very common to me with most of the eyeliners. That’s why generally I am very choosy in the case of buying one. This is the second one after Sugar eyeliner that doesn’t bring tears to my eyes, Lol! One thing you must remember at applying, do it softly. Don’t give much pressure, otherwise the tip will break. As I have just bought it, I can’t say about the sharpening process.
SO, what is your experience with these eyeliners? Did you use any? Please share your thoughts then.
This is for today. Will be back soon with more products from Maybelline.
