Today, I haven’t come here to review any product, rather wish to share with you my winter special DIY skincare that I regularly use at my morning CTM (Cleansing -toning -moisturizing). This DIY paste which I’m going to share, you can use as the Cleanser, or Scrub or Mask. Let’s jump into the DIY.
The Ingredients I Use in the DIY:
- Milk Powder.
- Coffee Powder.
Benefits of these three Ingredients:
The solution for many skin problems, you can get from Oatmeal which can be seen in every kitchen shelf. Oatmeal containing antioxidants and anti inflammatory properties, is beneficial for treating a variety of skin disorders, i.e. sunburn, eczema, acne etc. It is said that Oatmeal is one of the best healer of acne as it can absorb excess oil and soothe the skin and thus treats even severe acne. Oatmeal also being the boon for dry skin, esp during winter gives extra hydration to the skin by locking in moisture into the skin while cleaning the skin deeply. Oatmeal helps normalize skin’s pH, relieves itchy skin softens the skin and protects the skin environmental irritants. It can be suitable for every skin type including sensitive skin ( mine is combination and sensitive).
2. Milk Powder:
Do you know milk powder has lots benefits for skin’s health? It can do miracle especially for dry, rough and lifeless skin that longs for moisture, esp during these dry months. Milk powder helps to moisturize your skin and provide it with nutrients to keep it healthy and it gives shine to the skin too. So, to get fair, hydrated, flawless and healthy glowing skin now onwards you can keep your hands on milk powder using which is easier too.
3. Coffee Powder:
Caffeine in coffee stimulates blood circulation that leads to a healthy radiant and glowing complexion. Coffee with antioxidants removes dead skin cells which caused by free radicals, eliminates dark spots and acne scars, revitalizes and tightens the skin, treats acne, shrinks pores and also is a great skin moisturizer.
Oatmeal + Milk Powder + Coffee pack:
I use this pack every morning on my face and twice a week on my whole body before taking bath.
Take one tsp of each powder if you use on face only and for body three tsp of Oatmeal and Milk Powder and two tsp of Coffee. Add lukewarm water to them and sit for at least 5 minutes to soak the Oatmeal. Now mix them properly to make a thick paste. Apply on your face and leave it to semi dry. Then massage with wet fingertips for one minute and rinse off to get bright, healthy and hydrated skin that might be your dream for long.
