Five Tips To Get Healthy Sleep Every Night:

 

1. Maintain A Fixed Sleep Schedule:

 

Go to bed at the same time every day. Being consistent fortifies your sleep-wake cycle leading to quality sleep.

 

2. Concentrate On What You Eat And Drink:

Avoid heavy meals at your dinner. It may make you feel stuffed and your discomfort might keep you awake.

 

Alcohol, cigarettes and caffeine can disrupt sleep. Avoid them in the evening.

 

3. Improve Your Sleep Environment:

 

Sometimes small changes to your environment can make a big difference to the quality of sleep. You can’t imagine how much aromatherapy can affect your sleep. Don’t do much, just light an aromatic candle or sprinkle a few drops of Lavender/Peppermint/Lemon essential oils on your pillow. Candles soften the lighting of your bedroom and their pleasing scent will make you feel relaxed making it easier to fall asleep. Double cleanse your skin with cleansing oil or balm and a water based cleanser. Then spray plenty of toner (preferably chilled rosewater) on your face. This can refresh your senses immediately, besides helping calibrate your skin. Next step is a hydrating serum, depending on your skin type. A proper soothing eye cream is a need not only to treat the skin around your eyes but also to soothe your eye area that may help you sleep fast. And the last step is a good hydrating lightweight moisturizer that won’t clog your pores.

5. Wear A Comfortable Night Dress:

 

A cosy night dress can give you a peaceful, relaxing night sleep after a long tiring day. What you wear in bed is a great factor for a good night’s sleep. If you wear a dress that is too tight or the fabric is not of good quality can you sleep comfortably? So, when you choose a night dress, make sure that it might be of breathable fabric, soft, and loose fitting. In a word, that is comfortable and soothing to give you a good sound sleep.
