Are you experiencing the darkening of certain areas of your skin? Then, it’s obvious that you are having that common problem, maybe facing by everyone, Pigmentation. This can appear on any part of your body. But pigmentation is most commonly found on face, neck and hands. There are various reasons causing pigmentation and hence, uneven skin tone, like Hormonal changes/pregnancy, exposure to sun, skin inflammation etc. But, don’t worry, this can be targeted by skincare products and ingredients designed to help brighten skin.
There are some easy ways to treat pigmentation at home. In most cases, simple home remedies can do miracle not only to the pigmented skin, but will help even out your skin tone too.
How to remove skin pigmentation naturally:
1. Aloe Vera + Rosehip oil:
The miraculous plant Aloe Vera is considered to be one of the best way to deal with skin pigmentation. Aloin, a compound found naturally in aloe vera gel, is a depigmentation agent. So it helps to lighten dark areas on the skin. Rosehip oil, on the other hand, is a pretty good oil for skin care, particularly when it comes to the elimination of pigmentation and acne scars.
Take 2 tablespoons of Aloe Vera gel and 2 drops of Rosehip oil in a bowl and mix thoroughly to apply on face and neck. Use this every day at night after cleansing and toning.

Rose Petals + Sandalwood Powder + Honey:
Rose Petals are highly effective in lightening the skin complexion, fading dark spots, healing pigmentation and in improving skin texture. On the other hand, Sandalwood Powder helps lighten the any spot, like acne scar, sun tan, and age spot.
Take 7-8 dried rose petals and soak them in water for 2-3 hours. Now mix them with 2 tsp sandalwood powder and 1tsp honey and water to make a smooth paste. Apply this on face and neck, keep for 10 minutes and wash off with water. Do it twice a week.
Sweet Lime + Oats + Coconut oil + Honey:
Sweet lime being a bleaching agent, lighten the spots, esp on neck, underarms, elbows and knees. It also relieves skin problems and protects the skin from any infections providing a rejuvenated skin. Oats being an excellent scrubber is effective for reducing dark spots and for treating pigmentation. Coconut oil helps to regenerate skin and lightens any scar, age spot, uneven skin tone.

Take 2 tsp sweet lime juice and add 2tsp oats powder, one tsp coconut oil and 1/2 tsp honey to it to make the soft paste. Apply on face and neck and keep it for 10 minutes. Wash off after rubbing softly for 1 minute. Use it twice a week.

- Always wear Sunscreen with SPF 30, PA+++ during daytime. Don’t skip during winter and cloudy mornings.
