Pure Magica, a magical blend of  skin loving ingredients in helping to heal, tone and lighten your skin. A face gel to treat acne, reduce pigmentation leaving your skin glowing.

Hi friends,

Hope you are all staying safe, healthy and happy as much as you can. Fourth round of lockdown is going to end and our Government is thinking of extending it which is obvious result of the increasing graph of positive cases. So, let’s get distracted from the sad and crazy situation for a while and immersed into beauty.

If you are following my blog for quite a long time, you might be knowing how much I love the natural skincare brands that are designed not only to heal and restore our skin, but also to do no harm to our planet. One of such brand is PureSkinBlends, “Blends of Purity to Your Skin”. Previously, I have reviewed an amazing herbal hair oil from the brand, Hair Haven.

This week, it’s all about PureSkinBlends Pure Magica, Magic in Jar. Priya, the founder of the brand very kindly gifted me a few of her products to try. I was more than happy to test this one out. Now that I’ve been using it for about a month and I’m ready to share my experience with you. Let’s get into it!

Price: ₹ 550 for 30 gms. Available here

How I use it:

It’s a great everyday product that can be used both morning and night. It’s a bit thick (somewhere between a light gel and thick cream) formula that instantly hydrates and brightens the skin. It’s lightweight and comfortable on the skin, yet intensely moisturizing like any heavy cream.

In my P.M. routine I use Pure Magica after I apply my serum and before the face oil. In the morning I apply before an SPF and skip the serum. Though it looks like a golden yellow jelly in the tub, it can be applied like a serum. The watery light gel lays comfortably under makeup and gives you a dewy, illuminated look.

You will need a very small amount of Pure Magica to produce the magic. One scoop is enough to cover your entire face and neck. It is recommended to use a clean wooden spatula when scooping the product to keep it a bit more hygienic. As you massage it into your skin, the bouncy gel melts into a smooth, watery texture that seeps into the skin within a few minutes. It feels like your skin has had a glass of water.

How’s the packaging:

The gel moisturizer comes in a small, handy plastic tub with a screw cap under which you’ll find a protective lid. Cute and compact packaging. All the necessary information about the product is provided on the outer surface of the tub. The light package can be carried in your purse without any fear of leaking from the container.

My Experience:

To be honest, I knew I’m going to love this product from the first time I applied Pure Magica to my face. It leaves my complexion wonderfully soft, glowy and hydrated, without leaving any sticky residue. I love the cooling sensation upon the application. My combo-oily skin feels comfortable and the formula is super soothing for my hyper sensitive skin. It has a sweet scent of saffron that’s not overpowering. So, the product is perfect for sensitive skin.

Every eyebrow threading ends up with red rashes and itching around my eyebrow areas. As I swipe accross the gel, it calms them down instantly. Seeing this, I use after waxing as well. After waxing my skin develops some red, bumpy, pimple like rashes. I massaged Pure Magica into my skin, and the inflammation got soothed immediately.

A soft and thick gel formula that  settles into the skin quickly without leaving behind any oily or greasy residue. Its carefully concocted cluster of organic oils and botanicals leaves the complexion look bright, illuminated and flawless. Regular use will provide intense hydration and nutrition to your skin. The super cooling moisturizer is great for post-irritation treatment. Almost unscented (you can smell a mild note of saffron) the product caters to sensitive skin.

Overall, I am super happy with its result. Now, I can understand why my friends always rave about this product. Try it bro! Only then you can know what magic this small jar can offer you.

Thanks for reading.

* Kindly gifted, but there was no pressure from Priya, the girl behind the brand to speak only good words about this. Whatever I have written is my personal experience.

What a honest recommendation Shreemayee! I am definitely suggesting this skin care brand to my sister who indeed has a sensitive skin. Apparently for her even applying haldi based cream causes rashes, so I will ask her to try this brand out and get a soothing benefit by using this product.
