The Review And Swatches Of Sugar Cosmetics It’s A-Pout Time Vivid Lipstick: The Big Bang Berry

After a long time, I am going to write about a makeup product. And it is about one of my favorite lipstick from Sugar Cosmetics, It’s A-Pout Time Vivid Matte Lipstick The Big Bang Berry. I got this lipstick in one of my Fab Bag, last year. Yes, I am little late to review it. Actually, I was stuck in the reviews of some skincare products, so the delay. Now, let’s enjoy the review.

Sugar Cosmetics It’s A-Pout Time Vivid Lipstick: Big Bang Berry.

This is a dark berry shade which will complement every Indian skin tone. This is my first Sugar lipstick and I am too much obsessed with it.

Brand Description:

Creamy and moisturizing Sugar It’s A-Pout Time Matte Lipstick combines the look of a classic matte lip with the benefit of incredible comfort. Enriched with micronized pigments and silica micro-beads, this matte lipstick glides on easily and settles to a gorgeous matte finish. FDA approved, this lipstick is free of mineral oil and parabens.

Packaging And Price:

It is a classy black matte plastic case with the black cap shut very tightly. If you carry it in your purse, the cap doesn’t come out. It’s quite travel-friendly. And on the cap the brand name and the name of the shade is written in white. It costs Rs 599/-. Available here.( direct link).

How Is The Lipstick:

Though the shade is described on the brand’s website ‘Wine’, it is deep berry with wine undertone.

It is matte and the look is not at all shimmery. When applying, it comes out as a gel like texture, after 2/3 minutes, it has  appeared as purely matte. Application is quite comfortable. To get the exact color I have to apply two layers. Maybe that is due to my pigmented lips. The lipstick stays for 4/5 hours, bearing all my tea, lunch, afternoon snack  at my work-place, the school. And you know how much a teacher has to talk, during the lecture session and the womanly gossips in the staff room. It doesn’t dry up the lips, even during the dry months. Before applying the lipstick I always use a hydrated lip balm. I need not apply any within those 4/5 hours. It gives a full-time moisturization. The color can suit any complexion, fair to dusky. It can instantly enhances the look. Overall it’s a nice lightweight gel matte formula. If you are looking for a deep berry lip color, can easily go for it.
